Bachelor of Science, Università di Genova

Industrial and Management Engineering

I graduated in Industrial and Management Engineering in 2020 with a grade of 110/110. My thesis title was: “A domain adaptation technique for fault detection and isolation in fuel cells”. During my bachelor’s I specialized in the management engineering branch, but still had strong bases in industrial, mechanical and enenrgy engineering subjects.

In the scope of my thesis, I developed a random forest machine learning model and tried apply transfer learning to increase the number of classes of detected faults.

Master of Science, Technical University of Denmark

Electrical Engineering – Automation and Robot Technology

I graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2023 with a grade of 12/12. My thesis title was: “Power Electronics Design with Remote Hardware Diagnostics for a Collaborative Mobile Robot”. During my Master’s I studied mainly Robotics, Control and Computer Vision.

In the scope of my thesis, I developed the hardware part of a market-ready multi-rail power supply system with sensing and advanced capabilities thanks to two MCUs. The system is not only designed with standard and regulation compliance in mind, but it is also thought to be modular and easily maintainable. The system is comprised of 7 PCBs, 4 of which are power rails, 2 of them MCU boards and the last one is the backplane.
